About AdilChild

Therapy built around one child at a time.

We started AdilChild because too many Minnesota families were told to wait: for a clinic slot, for a referral, for someone to explain what any of it meant. We do it differently. We come to you, and we start with your child.

Helping autistic children build skills, confidence and independence at home.

AdilChild is an in-home ABA provider serving autistic children and young people ages 3 to 20 across St. Paul and the wider Twin Cities metro, through Minnesota’s EIDBI benefit.

Our work is grounded in one belief: therapy should fit into a family’s life, not the other way around. That means sessions in your living room rather than a clinic across town, goals that reflect what actually matters to you, and caregivers treated as part of the team.

We keep our caseloads deliberately small. It is the only way to genuinely know a child.

Naturalistic, data-driven and genuinely collaborative.

Modern ABA looks very little like the ABA of twenty years ago. Ours is play-based and child-led wherever possible, built on a child’s interests and motivation rather than compliance.

What we stand for

Four things we do not compromise on

Dignity first

Your child is not a set of behaviours to be corrected. We build on strengths and respect who they already are.

Plain language

No jargon walls. We explain every recommendation, data point and plan change in words that make sense.

Consistency

The same familiar faces, session after session. Consistency is not a nicety in this work. It is the intervention.

Responsiveness

Calls returned, questions answered, and a plan that changes when your child changes, not six months later.

Who you will actually work with

EIDBI care is delivered by a small, supervised team rather than one lone therapist. Here is who sits around your child’s plan.

CMDE provider

Completes your child’s comprehensive evaluation and recommends the right level and type of service.

Supervising professional

Owns the treatment plan, observes sessions, directs the team and reviews progress with you.

Treatment providers

Deliver the day-to-day intervention in your home, collecting data on every goal as they go.

Family trainer

Coaches parents, siblings and caregivers so strategies keep working between sessions.
